QC Card Scanning Process Description (4 main steps)
1. Initial Settings
1.1. Worker Employment Profile: In the employment settings, check the 'Is QC' option, select the QC Type (No Limit, Only Pass, Only Finish Good, Inspection No Rework Card), and check 'Allow adjust bundle quantity'.
1.2. Set the Rework Department code position and Rework Reason codes.
1.3. Set Scan Card Method ⇒ QC Settings
Once the initial settings above are completed, QC inspection scanning can begin. Continued on the next page
2. QC Inspection Scanning Procedure
2.1. The QC inspector logs into the ticket reader using their employee card.
2.2. The inspector scans the bundle ticket on the logged-in QC ticket reader (inspect first, then scan the bundle ticket). The screen will prompt for the rework quantity.
2.2.1. Case 1: Entering '0' followed by Enter means all pieces passed but are not classified as finished goods. Entering '000' followed by Enter means all pieces passed and are classified as finished goods. Entering '009' followed by Enter means all pieces are defective.
2.2.2 Case 2: Entering '5' followed by Enter means 5 pieces need to be reworked. The card reader screen will prompt to bind a rework card (an empty card) and then prompt to 'Enter Rework Code' (e.g., 0123, where 01 represents the rework part code and 23 represents the rework reason code), followed by pressing Enter.
Special Note: If the rework garments do not return to the original bundle, simply enter 0 or 000 for the original bundle to pass it through and continue the workflow. If the rework garments must return to the original bundle, the original bundle card cannot be entered as 0 or 000 until the rework garments have actually returned to the bundle; only then can you enter 0 or 000.
- Rework Card Parts & Reasons - Case 1: If a rework card only records one specific part and reason, press Enter again, then bind the rework card to the garment and send it to the rework person.
- Rework Card Parts & Reasons - Case 2: If a rework card records multiple parts and reasons, press Enter after typing the first part and reason code, and continue entering the others. Once all codes are entered, press Enter twice, then bind the rework card to the garments and send it to the rework person.
3. Rework Operator Scanning
After logging into their own card reader, the rework personnel receive the rework garments and the rework card.
- Start Rework: Worker scans the Rework Card at their station to 'Clock-in' to the repair.
- End Rework: Worker scans again to 'Clock-out'. The garment is returned to QC for re-inspection.
4. QC Re-inspection of Reworked Garments
4.1 The QC log into the card reader.
4.2 The QC inspect the rework garments.
4.2.1. Pass: QC scan the rework card and enter 001, which represents that the rework garments are returning to the original bundle. Then, scan the original bundle ticket and enter 0 or 000.
4.2.2. Fail: QC scan the rework card and repeat the operational steps of Case 2 in section 2.2.2.
